Our client is Mobile Multimedia group of US semiconductor manufacturer that produces diverse range of integrated circuits, for applications ranging from networking devices to TV set-top boxes. Mobile Multimedia group work on development of low-power microprocessors to enable high-performance audio and video for mobile devices such as phones and cameras. Current generation of multimedia coprocessors is already being used in devices by several major consumer electronics companies.
You will be working with customers, getting them using the core video prodict and software libraries developed for it. You will have good communications skills and be able to represent company in professional manner at all times. You will be expected to travel to customer sites worldwide, sometimes at short notice. You will need to have flexible attitude and be comfortable in presence of customers and pressurised situations. You should have good electronic engineering or embedded software background, or similar, with particular experience of working in C. You should also be familiar with electronic circuit design and debug.
You must be able to work with customers, both by phone*email and onsite.? Ability to solve problems and create suitable solutions. Need to ?think on your feet?.? Good communication skills, including reporting information*findings to rest of team and company.? Technical curiosity and development of your ideas. Client wants people to be having fun and doing things because they are interesting!? good degree, probably Electronic Engineering, Computing or related discipline.? C programmer. Preferably with good recent experience, especially embedded systems.? Electronic engineering skills, familiarity with analysers, scopes, ICE etc.? Passion for technology. Perhaps hobby interest.? Ability to travel worldwide.
